Which laws apply
As the provider is based in Germany, we process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For visitors in the United Arab Emirates we also follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, PDPL): we collect only what we need, use it only for the stated purpose, keep it safe and delete it when it is no longer needed.
What this site does not do
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from this site, so no data goes to a font provider. There is therefore no cookie banner.
When you visit the site
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. To deliver the site and keep it secure, GitHub processes technical data, including your IP address, and may keep it in server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which serves as the safeguard for this transfer to the USA. Details: GitHub's privacy statement atdocs.github.com.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we use your email address to tell you the launch date and nothing else. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent under the PDPL). The form sends your address to Google Forms, part of Google Workspace, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, under a data processing agreement. Google may process data in the USA, safeguarded by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We delete your address once you withdraw your consent, and at the latest when the launch has been announced and the waitlist is closed. You can withdraw at any time by writing to info@amadillo.ae.
If you write to us, we use your message and address to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, for investor questions, steps before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR). Our email runs on Google Workspace, see above. We delete the messages when they are no longer needed, unless we must keep them by law.
Data room requests
The data room request form is not connected yet. Investors can request access by email. We then use name, organisation and email to answer and to manage the request, on the legal bases named under Email.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have it corrected or deleted, and restrict how it is processed;
- receive it in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future;
- complain to a supervisory authority: in Germany the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Ansbach; in the UAE the UAE Data Office.

Changes
We update this policy when the site, our providers or the law change, and once the planned company in the UAE takes over the site. The version date is at the top of this page.
